Rotterdam, the Netherlands
August 7, 2026
Arrives 7:00a – Departs 3:00p
The Netherlands’ second-largest city and Europe’s busiest port is home to some of the 20th and 21st centuries’ most important architectural feats, which is particularly impressive when you consider that nearly all of Rotterdam was razed to the ground during World War II.
At Sea
August 8, 2027
Sleep in. Take a walk. Watch a movie. Enjoy brunch by the pool. It’s your day!
New Haven (Edinburgh)
30 mins
Aug 9, 2027 & Aug 10, 2027
Arrives 7:00 am – Departs 5:00 pm
The portside neighborhood of Newhaven is just minutes from one of the most charming city centers in Western Europe: that of the Scottish capital of Edinburgh. A top destination for travelers to the U.K., Edinburgh is known not only for its nearly fairy-tale appearance, with a castle hovering over the city center, but also for its rich arts scene and long cultural heritage. The center of Edinburgh is divided between two distinct and internationally recognized historic districts. To the north is the Old Town, with its vennels (alleys) and medieval remnants—all still intact if modified over the ages. To the south, it’s the New Town, begun around the time of the American Revolution. Both districts demand wandering and exploration.

Invergordon (Inverness), Scotland
Aug 11, 2027
Arrives 7:00 am – Departs 5:00 pm
Welcome to the Highlands, the wildest and least trammeled region in the entire United Kingdom. Inverness is considered the Highland capital and, while a very small city by international comparisons, it does offer more than a few hours of enjoyment and entertainment. Just outside Inverness is a trove of Scottish and Celtic history, myth and natural beauty amid unspoiled glens, mountains, lochs, rivers and more. Most famous among the attractions is no doubt the legendary (and likely imaginary) Loch Ness Monster, though for the less frivolous traveler, the sites associated with Scottish history will hold more appeal.

Portree (Isle of Skye) Scotland
Aug 12, 2027
Arrives 8:00 am – Departs 6:00 pm
The Isle of Skye, the largest of the Inner Hebrides, offers an intriguing and curious contrast of landscapes and cultures. Between the green rolling hills and the jagged mountain ranges, the Quiraing ridge dominates the north of the island, attracting wildlife watchers and hikers keen to test their abilities. The island’s rich with history, too—its Celtic, Norse and Scottish influences can be picked up in casual conversations (and more formally at the Aros cultural center), while Scottish Gaelic is enjoying something of a revival. Skye’s also home to 170-million-year-old dinosaur footprints, the 800-year-old Dunvegan Castle and the Talisker distillery which dates back to 1830.

Belfast, Northern Ireland
Aug 13, 2027
Arrives 11:00 am – Departs 11:00 pm
While the legacy of Belfast’s complex conflict known as The Troubles still looms, there are many other sides of Northern Ireland’s capital to explore, from the quaint streets of the Cathedral Quarter to the newly regenerated Titanic Quarter, where the ill-fated RMS Titanic was constructed. Belfast is also gathering momentum as an up-and-coming gourmet destination, with a new generation of chefs producing food to get excited about.

Greenock (Glasgow), Scotland
Aug 14, 2027
Arrives 8:00 am – Departs 11:00 pm
Greenock, only a stone’s throw from Glasgow, is the deepwater port for Scotland’s largest, and many would say most exciting, city. While much of the old city that Daniel Defoe praised in 1707 as “the cleanest and beautifullest, and best built city in Britain, London excepted,” has been demolished, today’s Glasgow is a monument to Victorian architecture at its finest. It is worth a visit if only to have a look at its magnificent built heritage, though the city offers much more. Today Glasgow has become a cosmopolitan center of culture and a vibrant city of universities, art and music.

Liverpool, England
Aug 16, 2027
Arrives 8:00 am – Departs 10:00 pm
Few destinations wear their souls as outwardly as Liverpool, an alluringly energetic city of humor, individuality, grit and history, whose inhabitants are known as much for their fierce sporting loyalties as for their warmth and wit. In the handily compact center you’ll find independent book, fashion and interiors stores, especially around the RopeWalks area. There are places of musical legend and cultural merit as well, such as The Tate Liverpool, just one of the many galleries, museums and creative spaces worth exploring around the docks.

Aug 17, 2027

Cobh (Cork), Ireland
Aug 18, 2027
Arrives 08:00 am – Departs 05:00 pm
There is a lot to love about Ireland’s second city. Hugging the banks of the River Lee, it takes its name from corcaigh, the Gaelic word for “marshy.” With its origins in the 7th century, Cork enjoyed a flourishing period as a merchant center in the 18th and 19th centuries, with grand buildings like the elegant Cork City Hall bearing testimony to this status. On the north bank of the River Lee is the quaint neighborhood of Shandon with its landmark clock tower of St. Anne’s Church. There’s a more modern side to Cork, with a thriving university quarter, pubs, bars and restaurants. Whatever your interests, you will find a side of Cork to love too.
